Inclusive Access
The Grand View Book Store is excited to announce the expansion of Inclusive Access, a digital textbook program in collaboration with top publishers that will reduce the cost of course materials for classes that use the program. In an effort to make textbooks more affordable for students, Grand View implemented the program in Fall 2019 and is seeing steady growth, with more than 90 class sections using it this term. We are now seeing an average semester savings of around $26,000 for the group of students who are in classes that participate in our Inclusive Access Program.
With Inclusive Access, you get access to materials the first day of class, so you no longer have to worry about where to obtain course materials, and the cost is the most affordable you will find. In fact, students who use the program save 50-60% compared to the retail cost of new, printed textbooks.
The program is optional and not all titles are available in the program, so some courses are not eligible. However, with the cost savings and guaranteed access, we are working to expand Inclusive Access to more courses each semester. And it’s easy to use. When you are registering for courses, you will see those that are eligible for Inclusive Access noted as such, along with the associated fee for the materials. After you are registered and prior to the beginning of the course, you will receive an email about how to access the materials.
Please contact the Bookstore to learn more about Inclusive Access or if you have any questions about textbooks or course materials at the Grand View Book Store.
